The Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs at Appalachain State University promotes the ASU Performing Arts Series, an annual event held Oct-April presenting a wide array of performing arts events at Farthing Auditorium; The Turchin Center for the Visual Arts, presenting exhibitions, workshops and visual art activities throughout the year; and Appalachian Summer Festival, presented annually in July providing a wide array of music, dance, theatre and visual arts.
